I'm hoping that Team Canada plays players not named Price and Weber. Keep them healthy for the season. Kronwall being out of the WC should be good news I would think. |

Kronwall being out of the WC is good for Detroit and, frankly, good for Sweden as well. At this point I don't think even a healthy Kronwall is anywhere near one of Tre Konor's six best defenders. |

True enough... leaving Lindholm off was a bit of a head scratcher to begin with. |

They left Klingberg off as well, which is hard for me to comprehend. |

It's more of an old injury, old knee thing. Not really a new injury. Either way Detroit sucks. |

They are following the Leafs strategy from the 90's.
Let's let it play out. |

He's already screwed them for the next 3-5 years. How he still has a job is pretty embarrassing. |

You know, I don't post here often at all, but I do frequent the message boards daily. You make valid points, but unfortunately they're overshadowed by how much of a douche you are. It seems like you're on every thread either saying "Detroit sucks" or you're being a condescending ass when responding to other poster's comments. Try being polite once in a while. Disagreeing with someone else's point of view is fine, but being a Richard about it is uncalled for. |

Yeah, I get the irony of it, but sometimes you just have to talk to someone in terms they'll understand. |

People like this always baffle me. Because they seem to think that, because the Wings made the playoffs this past year, that Holland was not in rebuild mode. Holland knows theyre in rebuild mode, this is why he hasnt traded away any valuable assets in recent years. Just because they happen to make the playoffs doesnt mean Holland isnt in the process of rebuilding the team. You think by doing NOTHING at the deadline last year, Holland was saying "forget the future, I want to keep the streak alive!" Please explain your logic on that. Please explain how you think him planning for the future and not caring about the present is saying that he doesnt care about the future, and is only playing for the present?
Either you didn't think this through, or you weren't smart enough to recognize it to begin with. Either way, it is idiotic to suggest that Holland is playing for the streak, ESPECIALLY considering the choices hes made in terms of assets in recent years. |

It's not about not getting injured, it's about him being able to appropriately rehab his knee so he is at as high of a level as possible to start the season. Our defense is awful, getting every bit out of Kronwall helps. |
