Looking at the Dallas roster...Is their plan to win as many 7-6 games as possible?

Good for Jiri. Class act. Dallas will be happy with him.

Outside of their goaltending situation there isn't much bad you can say about their roster...

My sources are looking into this as we speak.

I think Defense and goaltending was their issue last year...so kinda the point I was trying to make.

Their defense is pretty mediocre after losing a couple of key players (like Demers)

Their D is looking more suspect this year. They lost two of their top-3 (Goligoski and Demers) and only really added Hamhuis. They're banking pretty hard on a combination of Johns, Nemeth, Honka, and Oleksiak being able to cover for them and any drop off from Hammer or Oduya.

That was always the plan. Goligoski and Demers along with Russel were simply stop gaps until the young D was ready, and they are now.

Plus the same goalie situation that was a train wreck last Year, pretty much hammers home the point I was making. Well summarized.

And the fact you did not include Lindell shows how little you know about their D...

Seems like a large assumption that 50% of their top 6 D will suddenly all be ready. Hopefully it works out for them. I think Hudler is a good signing, just thought Dallas had other areas to concentrate on.

Yes, this move seems to indicate that Val will not return. Somewhat confusing though considering I do think the Stars need more help on D and in goal. Still hoping we can trade for Bishop. *Spoiler alert: Stephen Johns will prove to be a monster steal. #isitOctoberyet?

Klingberg is a stud. Johns and Hamhuis are top 4D. Oduya and Benn are top 6 D. Lindell is most likely ready for a top 4 role. Nemeth, Oleksiak, Honka, and Backman are just a bonus.

Not an expert but it is an assumption that all of Honka, Lindell, Johns and Oleksiak break out this Year. If it works out ...great.

Ducks blow it - great job Murray - sign Boll for 2 yrs @ 900 per / but not Hudler - when you need wing scoring -
