How good do you think Kyle Connor can be at the NHL level? This guy seems like an absolute steal at #17 and could score 40 goals a year.

thanks for answering my questions. you're right, society is growing increasingly intolerant of criminality amongst professional athletes and the entitled are getting less entitled as people are more aware through social media and the internet about what's going on.

i would like you to just state though, clearly, that you aren't going to answer my earlier questions from some time back since it feels like a loose end.

I have read on here to many times about Stafford being move at the deadline!! Comon Jets fans, time to think a little more positive here!! The Jets will absolutely be in the thick of a play-off race and with the already aparent depth in the system it ill be deemed more important to hang on to Stafford for the play-offs then to dump him to aquire a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Peter,

with no explanation needed why not post your top 3 lines for the Moose and top 6 D. I think everyone knows Comrie will be the number one goalie

better to dump any end of season UFAs for a pick and pickup a guy who has a year remaining for the push, or sign said UFA for a season and dump him at the draft or next season's deadline.

By this logic who would want to pick up a pending UFA?

They will not move him if in the playoff race.

a team that is a potential repeat, last season's runner up, this season's potential regular season conf. leaders, this seasons's potential regular season champion (pres. trophy), last season's regular season champion, last season's division champion if none of the above...

basically any team that had a better than average shot at winning the cup the previous season and any team that might have a better than average shot at winning the cup this season.

any team in the 3-8 slot in either conf. probably shouldn't be mortgaging the future on a UFA at the deadline unless they fall into one of the above categories i mentioned...

Thanks for answering my questions. Now I'm curious to see if they'll try Laine-Scheifele-Ehlers during the preseason.

It's not a positivity thing. I'm positive the Jets will be pushing for 3rd in the Central all year. That said, I'd rather move Stafford for something and replace him with a Petan or Connor (whom are likely to be better by then) than let him walk for nothing in the hopes his experience makes him the better option.

Ehlers and Laine on the same line will not be a surprise. Ehlers has incredible playmaking skills, that a finisher like Laine can benefit from.

Ehlers and Laine together could potentially be the Kariya and Selanne combination version 2.0.
