1990: The Flyers sign Mark Freer, Tony Horacek, Brian Dobbin and Dale Kushner.

This one line tells you everything you need to know about the early '90's Flyers.

Of all these players, though, Brian Dobbin stands out for me. He would just light up the AHL and never seemed to be able to replicate that success in the NHL.

I think Mark Freer came back to Philly and played with the Phantoms for a time.
