Here are my thoughts on the potential names for the AHL team:

Le 66 de Laval: Naming a team after one player's number? BOOH. 3/10

L'Alpha de Laval: Nothing to say. Just not good. 2/10

Les A's (Athlétique) de Laval: Plagiarism of Oakland's baseball team. Plus hardly bilingual. 2/10

Le Blizzard de Laval: Boring but who cares? 5/10

Le Cosmos de Laval: At least it's something local. 6/10

Les Lynx de Laval: "Hey look at us we're an animal!". 3/10

Les Métros de Laval: Please die in a fire. 0/10

Les Patriotes de Laval: Don't think Tom Brady will fall for it and come to the wrong camp. 2/10

Les Rapides de Laval: The good thing about it is the L'avale rapide joke. 4/10

Le Rocket de Laval: It failed in Montreal, why even bother? 3/10

Les Saints de Laval: Oh hai New Orleans. Nobody's going to use the French pronunciation. 1/10

Le Titan de Laval: Now in Acadie-Bathurst. It's a 8/10 name killed by context.

I must say the Titan isn't a bad choice.... but none of the names really comes out as a clear winner to me.

Always nice seeing the players and their families involved in the community.

I find the names really bad. I ended up voting for the Titans, but so many of them are clear copy-cats of professional teams (A's, Patriots, Mets...) and other just plain bad (Alpha, 66, Cosmos...), I wonder who the hell made the selection! Or what the others were... I mean, I would have preferred the option of voting for the Laval Douchebags instead of the crappy options we got!

I had suggested Laval Rapids... Hopefully I win those season tickets... (Doubt it, I think Titans will win it... Expected it before this all began)

I suggested they call the team "Les Nordiques".

In the Why section, indicated it would piss people in Quebec city so much it would be worth it.
