O'Reilly wasn't found not guilty. The case was dropped because the one witness that saw Oreilly get out of HIS truck and leave the scene is now refusing to testify. Theirs a big difference there bud. But obviously logic is not your strong suit

O'Reilly was not found not guilty. The case was dropped because of lack of evidence. They didn't have proof which person was driving, him or his friend. That does not make O'Reilly innocent, it just means that they cannot prove without a shadow of doubt that i he is guilty.

I have known the true story . And you are clueless . O'Reilly was not driving a friend was that is a multiple cup winner. But common sense has never been your strong suit . Especially still cheering for the Loafs

The OPP that investigated came to the conclusion that O'Reilly was driving. They just didn't didn't have the evidence for the prosecutor to prove it in court.

But even if we believe that it was O'Reilly friend and not him driving. He was still a passenger in a hit and run. He is still a loser.

They should rename the Buffalo franchise the Kings.

How could you possibly know what someone who couldn't identify the driver(the DA said that) was going to testify to? Or what they saw?

I agree it was almost certainly him, but that's not how the justice system works. Here, or in Canada. There has to be proof beyond a reasonable doubt, and there wasn't. They didn't even have enough to make the charges stick.

And yeah, it's a shiddy, irresponsible and dangerous thing to do, but there are much worse things to be accused/guilty of. He was extremely lucky.
