Holy shat for A team that was happy with BC and their arrangement the new owners are really looking for a new home / situation.
Wether it's a negotiation ploy or really wanting to move the full court press is on, which it needs to be as with the opt out within 3 years and the time it takes to build a new Arena.

What is the story with the car that sits in the corner of the arena? I realize that this is a basketball/concert building and not built for hockey but that just doesn't seem logical. A lot of high priced seats are being taken up by a car.

But my point was, the Islanders are going nowhere fast. JT is not getting younger. If Isles don't improve this year JT is out. Since he is one of the best in the league, would the Isles move and risk even less people showing up to the game in a new arena?
He suffered in L.I. enough, shouldn't it be time he gets line mates that are his calibre?

The Rags do a player of the game and he gets to wear a stupid hat in the locker room, the Islanders kicked it up a notch and the player of the game gets to park there next game. This is a VERY valuable reward because it's become a known fact the Islander players hate the lack of parking around the arena... Word is.. This perk led to the team making the playoffs and winning a round.
