signing Kreider to this type of deal and for that dollar amount does make him very tradable if New York wanted to move him for let's say a D-man in St. Louis or Colorado.

The last 2 Summers with Gorton have been impressive on the contract front. I know it looks like another move is coming up with all the cap space but I've still got the feeling it'll be in season. Gorton seems like the type that will wait for the market to come to him or not deal at all.

Honestly it wouldn't be a terrible trade if the NYR prospects/picks were good enough to even it out.

Kucherov is 1 guy I would never worry about going back home.

fingers crossed we have to pay him big money at the end of this... since that would mean he would have earned it. he has all the skills. just needs to put it all together. hopefully the whole team has a bounce back year this year and kreider takes off.

on another note. I would LOVE to get shattenkirk. him and McD on the same pair would be amazing!
