I think with McDavid the Oilers will finally make some noticeable strides but I'm sure the Devils will manage to score more than 39% of the goals when Hall is catching his breath.

The poor construction of the team in Edmonton falls SQUARELY on the shoulders of ownership and senior management. Hall could've won a Cup already, and had a successful five or six years, like Seguin if the Oilers had drafted properly and built their team around centres and defence.

Zero playoff games in his career has nothing to do with his personal ability!

In other news water is wet and ice is cold.

Halls a great player but as good as he was he couldn't carry the team by himself. Wingers can only do so much to impact winning.

The Oilers have enough talent plus with Lucic and eventually Puli to not shed too many tears over losing Hall and overall are a much better 200 foot team with Larsson in the mix.
