A first class player in Chicago in the Cup year 2015. I rather see him retire with a little left in the tank than embarrass himself as some have done.

Hats off to a great career.

Well if you ask an 18 year old if 15 years and two Cups would be a great career, most of them would say yes.
Classy player, solid citizen and now he can go count his money and find something else to do.

Great guy and player. He was a monster for us in Tampa when we won the Cup.

Steve Ott will avenge Richards injury riddled and ineffective season. Book it. Or maybe Vanek.

theres no way mrazek gets 5 & 5 on a 2yr, i like him a lot, but he hasnt done anything to prove 10m deal, he certainly deserves a huge raise, but i would say holland is a lot closer at 2.75 and 3.15 than 5/5

It's always the same thing for arbitrations, the team low balls (less than what they are willing to pay) while the player asks for more than he is willing to sign for and they usually meet somewhere in the middle which in this case is close to 4 million a year.

Given that the backup is making 5.3 million and a player like Helm is making close to 4 (both of which Mrazek is more important to the team and I won't even mention Ericsson), asking for 5 isn't crazy for Mrazek in this case. With 0 improvements to the defense, they will need Mrazek standing on his head a lot to win games again this season. If they have to rely on Howard they are screwed.
