More like 2.7 million for a really good bottom 6 center. We will see what he looks like after being out of the NHL for 2 seasons, but if he is the same or better I would much rather see him centering Tarasenko than Lehtera.

Both essentially produced the same points in their last season with the Blues (33 in 14' for sobotka vs 34 in 16' for lehtera) Except Sobotka had way better possession, shot generation, and shot suppression. Given that I think sobotka played on the 3rd line back when tarasenko was also on the 3rd line, so they may not have faced the best players. Still, it's worth a look having tarasenko playing with a guy that actually drives possession. Unless of course Sobotka has regressed, which then this point is moot.
