Thanks Carol,

As per last blog. I do agree Lefty, size is a concern and obviously very happy with Boeser.

The Canucks do need to find some potential high end skilled Centre's though.

Thanks Carol!

This was my concern with OJ this offseason, his team played very late into the year, rushed to the combine/draft, then he has some world junior summer prep camps, London training camp, Young Stars tournament, Vancouver training camp and then he is back into the season, not exactly a lot of time to train well for the NHL. He will be best served to spend another year in Jr but with the lack of training opportunity, I feel like it might be even longer before we see him at the NHL level

Another year in junior, maybe a year in the AHL afterwards. There is no sense rushing him, let the kid fill out a bit.

Juolevi is a 5th overall pick who dominated a tournament against players two years older than him. I fully expect he will playing in the NHL next year. He will likely come to camp at 6'3 200.

He also has the option to play in the SHL or another euro league I believe. IMO he would be better served playing in NA but they might feel he will progress more playing against men.

No, I don't think he is ready this year...needs to add a bit of weight and build his offensive game. I mean the 2017-2018 season.

Sbisa made Team Europe... so he can't be all that bad as some on here keep making him out to be...

I'd keep him over Tanev personally.

They say "drafting and developing" is the "most important factor"? Then this is BS.

I'd say so.

200 Leafs fans vote their team number 13.

Not surprising at all, as it matches what most sites/blogs etc. are saying.

Time will tell if it was unfounded or not.

That was list I pulled from THN as guys who didn't make it but were in consideration. Did I miss someone else obvious?

I wasn't talking about who else made the team.

The fact that they have Leafs 13th proves they know nothing of hockey.

Agreed. Other than Vancouver and Toronto, i think they've hit the nail on the head most everywhere else.
