How does that deal make sense?

1) Bozak is not a top line C, he is a 2nd at best.
2)Why would Toronto(A team rebuilding) trade a young Bozak and a young prospect for a Hartnell who is at the tail end of his career and still has 3 more years left. I dont believe he has 50 points a year left in him for 3 more seasons.

Because there has been a bunch of speculation in the media that Toronto and Buffalo want to get enough parts to accelerate the rebuild and make a legit run at a playoff spot. Hartnall would be a fit for them if this is case. Since Toronto has draft picks and young players to burn and supposedly Bozak is still not considered a part of the future in Toronto, it is a possibility.

I wouldn't do it if I was in Toronto, but I'm not the GM up there either.

Paul, how many players can be bought out in an off-season? If the CBJ likes Anderson so much, buy out Campbell's contract at the end of camp or even now, and go with Anderson on the 4th line, or maybe the 3rd line and move Karlsson down.

Hartnell is pretty much the only one willing, that being said , from what I read an hear , Rick is playing on the bad side of 30 and the mileage seems to be catching up to him.
