Are the Pens going with the more bold color scheme jerseys full-time next year? |

So, in the case that... I DON'T TWEET ... How doI get my question answered?
The other day you posted a blog on Jimmy Vesey. Is there a realistic chance he would sign in Pittsburgh?
I have seen players "come to play with Sid" and leave just about as fast. |

However, the things that Jason Botterill does behind the scenes cannot and will not be replaced in-house
I always loves quotes like these from people who have absolutely no clue what actually goes on behind the scenes, it reminds me a lot of the Toews' intangibles argument whereas there isn't an solid information to support your opinion so just throw out a statement that has no way of being valued or authenticated. This is not a knock against Botterill because like RW I have no clue what actually happens in the FO and who actually does what. |

So... you knock people who you believe have no clue... while having none yourself? |

Botterill is the nuts and bolts numbers guy when it comes to contracts and the cap. The Omar Khan to Rutherford's Kevin Colbert. |

Not at all. I mock people who act like they have a clue while openly admitting that I do not, I actually mock people who have to make intangible statements to backup their opinions and then act like the intangible statement is fact.

I never said he doesn't. I'm actually sure that he does do a lot, I just pointed out that like the rest of us RW has no clue what he actually does or if he's replaceable from within the organization.

Isn't it Tampa that has to over-take us since we won the division? |

Like Coga always shares with us on our Sabres thread, O'Rielly's situation was due to the offer sheet that Calgary threw at him. It supposedly made the contract talks pretty difficult...hopefully Colorado can get their sh*t together and keep Barrie. Coming from a team who lost both Drury and Briere, I can feel Colorado's pain if they lose both O'Reilly and Barrie. |

I know most of You talk about Botterill but what about Guerin? We might lose One of them to a GM position In the next 3 years. |

Interesting notion - I'd think that a package centering around Duchesne would potentially be the best outcome should the Pens wish to finally put all those "Malkin on the block" rumors to rest. Not that I think they do or should, mind you... |

Nah. Tampa went to the SCF last year and the ECF this year (1 game away from back to back SCF appearances). Panthers missed it last year and were bounced in the first round by a worse team. I'll say TB is better than FLA until they prove otherwise |

Bolts were injury riddled. If not for that they probably would of won the division. They are a class of the east. Panthers are headed towards that status no doubt. |
