Is Boyd Gordon serviceable anymore James?

I can't believe I'm going to stick up for the Leafs

Martin and Polak are there to make sure the kids don't get run over by other teams. That's it. Polak is on a 1 year deal, and Martin is a 4th liner.

It's really not a big deal.

He is terrible at everything - 4 points in 60+ games - except at suppressing shots, at which he is almost elite. I don't know, he's 32 and I'm not a huge fan, but any team could do worse for their fourth line and PK/

I like the Martin deal, actually. But Polak indicates the Leafs still have some antiquated views that I thought they had gotten over. Personally, I hear you- it's one year and he probably gets you a 4th round pick in March, no big deal.

Who's more underrated: gormley or rundblad?

I'd give him a max contract and see if TB could match it. They couldn't. Taylor Hall and Alex Ovechkin. That's my list of wingers I'd rather have next season than Kucherov.

Rundblad for sure, Gormley has no history of NHL success.

1) Steve Simmons is the worst- bar none

2) Polak for 1 year is smart (more than one is not)

3) Yes, Yzerman gets too much credit

If you'll take Filp and Bishop you can have Johnson. Send us a decent prospect in return and let's call it a day. Please take Johnson before he has a repeat season and loses nearly all value.

I still can't believe the Devils got Hall - AL is a solid / nice player who will help the Oil - Hall is going to open eyes in the east with his speed and scoring - he is crazy fast and strong on the puck -

MINUS: The Blackhawks bought out David Rundblad. He's crazy underrated and now available to anyone for free. Someone ought to get him. Coyotes, I am looking at you.

His desire to bash the Blackhawks has taken him to levels even I couldn't have imagined. The Hawks have LOTS to be "minus'ed" for, but dumping Rundblad isn't one of them.

And by the way, he WAS put on waivers last freaking year and NOT ONE single team (including your Coyotes) claimed him. James Tanner > ALL NHL Gms...I think not.
