Agreed. I think that's a major reason they made the pick for Nylander. He can be in the AHL and they'll able to keep close tabs on his development.

Casey Nelson is the reason the Pysyk trade made a lot of sense...we basically traded an extra 3rd to move up and get a hell of a player in the 2nd rd...very happy with the trade..sorry analytics folks

Looking back moulson still manage to squeeze out 21 points... more than 22&28 (playing mainly 4th line sub 12 TOI)

Not even close to saying he's worth his money but i think if he can work his A$$ off this summer and steal a 3rd line spot, he could hit 30-35 points which sadly i would be happy with.

He is on loan i think from the Swedish league I believe so he can play in the NHL, AHL, OHL or the Swedish league

i can't see a scenario where he isn't on the team.. as long as he is defensively responsible at this poitn i am ok with it

Hey heyyyyyyyy, first time long time and all that jazz. I was driving into work this morning and heard the guys on WGR musing about offer sheets, most notably regarding Nikita Kucherov and Torey Krug...

I know I, for one, would have zero issue with either of those guys on my team. Plus, I feel the Buffalo Sabres organization is trending towards established players as a main focus rather than draft picks and prospects (not that we will or should totally ignore them).

Obviously the Stamkos saga plays a huge role in this but if he doesn't pan out I think either of these guys should be seriously considered and we could certainly afford it with the $12M that is allegedly earmarked for Stamkos.

There is also the added benefit of taking solid players away from two divisional opponents.

What say you?

Well that Larsson-Gio-Foligno line was a great 3rd line last year for us... Moulson is in for a tough year again if we land Stammer because there is no room for him, just on the 4th line
