I haven't seen any of these kids play but the top 3 players are projected to be franchise forwards by almost every NHL scout. Which one of these are the Jackets not sold on? |

Trade the pick or go off the board??? Why? Puljujarvi is a total stud, and as mentioned above- he'll be a franchise forward for years... only would be smart to deal #3 for a bona-fide #1C, or another young stud dman. |

I think the only thing that might possibly throw things out of whack is if WPG takes Puljujarvi. I get the sense that Jarmo isn't sold on Laine...AND if the perception around the league is that Laine SHOULD be the #2 and WPG takes Puljujarvi then all of a sudden the perceived value of that #3 pick goes up. In that case, I could see CBJ moving the pick. Otherwise I think it's business as usual and we get a damn good player. |

My biggest issues right now are 1) DON'T trade down just to dump a contract. For the love of god please don't ESPECIALLY if Puljujarvi is available at 3. Take the player and fix cap situation some other way. 2) don't trade Bob. I understand the temptation, but if we do that the season is gone. Korpisalo and Forsberg have shown promise, but they aren't getting us in the playoffs. |

I don't follow the draft, why is this kid a bust waiting to happen? Is it the league he plays in? Does he have bad fitness numbers, is he not a good skater or something? |

Pujujarvi (sp?) who was ranked as the third best available everywhere is just puzzling why they avoided him. (Especially as he is a Finnish player and your GM should be rather familiar with him!... but maybe that is why)
