Hey Jen, nice blog. What kind of package do you think it would take to pry the 3rd from Columbus? The 9th, McCarron and a 2nd?

Cheers, thanks! Something like that would sound fair to me but I would try to include Scherbak instead and keep McCarron.

Thanks for your reply. I think this deal including Scherbak is exactly what Montreal needs, and it makes sense for both sides. Montreal gets a top tier right wing who can bolster the top 6 as soon as next season and for a long time after. Columbus gets a pick that will probably allow them to draft the forward they're high on (Brown) and proper compensation for taking a riskier player. Unfortunately, Bergevin is inevitably going to pick another midget or some euro defenseman tonight who is good, but won't be ready for another 5 years at which point core players like Pac or Price could very well be gone.
