Todd any idea what the looming expansion draft means for Ryane Clowe? Keep reading all NMC contracts must be protected, and Clowes contract runs through 2017-18. Any idea if the NHL has provisions for players that will obviously never play again?

Don't hold me to this but when all is said and done I don't think NJ will have to protect Clowe.

They are deciding how many years the devils have to choose from to lose their pick and how many second rounders they are taking back before the announcement.

Might as well get Horton to, maybe TOR can spare a couple of picks.....

Seems both teams had some success trading with each other. Over the past two years NJ has sent Jagr, Thompson, Black and cap space to Florida for two seconds and a third. One of the seconds was used to get Palmieri.

A lot of new rankings have Nylander slipping now, wouldn't mind at all grabbing him if Keller is already off the board.

Ray must have read the art of the deal.

Then Brown will be there. Colorado goes 10th though. Have a feeling they will be looking Chychrun, Juolvei or Sergachev there though.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't see Keller making it past 9. I think if he's available there, Montreal nabs him.

If Keller/Brown are both gone that likely means one of Juolevi/Chychrun/Sergachev is there. and I have no problem taking one of those guys as a future top 4 LHD. Long shot, but if Keller/Brown are both gone that may mean Nylander is there. Any way around it there will be a real good prospect available at 11.

I feel like not just on here but other places I've read has been talking about him a lot so I have to assume other teams are talking about him.
