Missed the Hayes bashing..... wanted to say how when i look back on season
he mimicked Krieds ..shows tons of play at times ,then kinda falls in the shadows
and its 2 wks and he 's done nothing ...Krieds factor of lay back play
1st we found the krieds dog dont hunt....
NOw its rubbin off on this kid who watched krieds get paid more for potential
not sure if we have to dump him like Krieds for his potential...bad heart for the team since these 2 dont have one to put up... biz players ,smart not hungry with alot of heart....
PS Hayes seems slow compared to where the game is goin.....
A V who trendsetted the speed &puck control when he got here & surprised lg
has a big ole player with a piano on his back out there ...looked terribly slow
and behind the pace..... may find a Hayes in the mix to go sumwhere and save
on the attitude and $$$ ... need a retooling to clean out the dead wood ....
NAsh Kreids ...definites ....Hayes ?

two teams in the league invest 9.5 million or more into their goaltending and we are one of them

they absolutely need to get Raanta in 30 games this year, especially since it starts with the World Cup, but, if they are fighting for a playoff berth, as in years past, that will force the hand and make them play Lundqvist more.

AV needs to resist that addiction to Lundqvist. Raanta is being paid one million this year and next. He can play 30 games, even some really important ones.

Keeping Raanta was definitely a smart move since there really isn't an affordable backup out there.
Jan, slow down on the grading or there will be nothing to write about after the draft.
We need some fresh meat every week or so. You see what happens when we are bored.

AV probably felt he had to ride Hank during the slide, should have rested him more. Hard to argue that vascular injury gave Hank the rest he needed. If only the D wasn't so banged up.

Have 10-11 more players to go. Will first focus on the UFA and slow down thereafter

Well, he should be well rested for the NHL it took him a decade to get here.

Raanta and the Rangers go together like Easter morning and Lyme disease.

Did you know McIlrath made his NHL debut a full year younger than when Hayes made his?

So i guess it took Hayes a decade+1 to get here.

Raanta started slow, but by years end, he did what was needed. NYR better not let Allaire go EVER! Biron, Talbot, and Raanta...3 good/great backups . Raanta needs to play more this year, if he continues good play. Hank needs rests, and not just during back/back game days.
