we did...when he was his first stint with Rochester they ended up putting him on the wing...will he stay there?...don't know

That is a pretty weak group of centers in the pipeline. Thank goodness we are set in Buffalo for the next 7 years with ROR and Jack as a great 1-2 punch. Hopefully Hurley turns into something because otherwise we wasted a pretty high draft pick on him. However, any sentence that contains Hurley's name and Connelly's name really concern me.

This winter I plan on seeing Estephan live when he plays against the Rockets in Kelowna. Hopefully he and Devante Stephens impress.

The center depth other then our three studs is atrocious and I hope they address in this draft you never know what might happen to the three studs they might get hurt or career ending you have to have a back up

Definitely could used a quality center prospect in the 3rd round.

I'm drafting defensemen all the way through the 3rd round...
Our depths there is brutal AND we're still unsettled with our top4 going forward on the Sabres
At least the Center spots on the big club are pretty well taken
If Larsson doesn't work out or gets traded, we've still got Girgensons who can fill the 3rd line center role
And Reinhart can move to center if there's injuries in the top6
Even Ennis could slide back to center if we really needed it
Don't forget about that Stamkos guy either! (Fingers crossed)

We're pretty set at center
I'd like to see Schaller get his shot at 4th line duties this year actually.
And those others that were mentioned could potentially help in the bottom 6 at some point as well

As far as depth goes...
We're more in need at defense, BY FAR
But it could make sense to draft a couple Euros in the mid-late rounds and see if the can surprise
We've done that with a few Swedes who are projecting nicely so far on the wings

Unless something career-ending happens to Eichel or O'rilley (like they fall off their toilet) We have time to build up our center depth. it might hurt Rochester for a few years, but if we had someone busting out of the AHL right now, we would have no where to put them any way. We'll probably be plugging and playing out bottom 2C's for the next 7-10 years considering where we're at with our top 2.

We're actually in really good shape (as far as depth goes) with plenty of forwards coming up through the system
