Well not counting his overstating the obvious Rosen does a great job, def starting to hit the twilight years but he's still in the upper echelon of P by P announcers.

Sam Rosen has consistently been a great play by play guy. He's looking a bit old and might have slipped a tad but still among the best in the league. Steve Cangailosi (who I've met) is a heck of a nice guy and knows his hockey, but is just hard to listen to compared to Rosen. Makes me miss Doc...

Congrats to Sam Rosen... as a Flyers fan, I haven't heard that much of his play-by-play... but I definitely like what I have heard.

At the risk of eliciting groans from the regulars here, my favorite call of his was when he was doing the national radio broadcast of the 2004 Eastern Conference Finals, and, not living in the Philly area then, I flipped on the radio just in time to hear him call Simon Gagne's game 6 OT winner vs. the Lightning.

I have no love for Doc or PM like nails on a chalkboard - Eddie O I can take & do enjoy him w/ Foley - Doc just grates on me -

it's very disappointing those three 2014 picks turned out so crappy, especially after all the homeruns in the 2013 draft

I guess Mantha is a little surprising to not sign because he is such a varity in the organization, big right handed defenseman and he seemed to have a good OHL playoff

Zucc is the heart-and-soul of this team next to Hank. I think he should be untouchable not only for that and his skill, but his contract is super-friendly for this team. A ton of identity would be gone if he is dealt.

it's because they no longer project them as NHL players and very likely they are going to sign some undrafted free agents in the coming weeks

always have to remember, the maximum is 50 signed contracts in your organization, you don't waste them on guys that wont make it

If we are counting coming back after his injury as part of the grade, he gets an A
