Sharks look tough - Martin Jones has been ... Not biggest surprise just an understated one - no way sharks are in finals w/o him - I continue to wonder if Lombardi makes that trade if he knew Jones would end up back in the division - and Joel Ward ... What can you say ... A stud -

Whether you liked the decision or not, Murray looked gassed when they went to Fleury. He was struggling a bit. Maybe it looked like a strange decision, but Murray was much sharper in game 6. I think MAF loses that games 6.

It's hard to question many of Sullivan's decisions, but Crosby only getting 18 minutes or so a game is strange to me. He could easily handle 22 or more. Double shift him at opportune times. Hags too. 15 or so minutes for him is not enough when he's been such a force. Especially on a left wing starved team.

Dam straight. Rust has averaged almost 12.5 mins, Fehr 11 mins and Sheary/Bennett almost 12 minutes the last two games, which is higher than it was earlier this postseason. Time to start doubleshifting the big guns.

And the first Pens goal. It was Crosby holding the puck in the zone while Hagelin came on

I took the following Sharks in my playoff pool:

Pavelski
Burns
Couture
Marleau
Ward
Hertl

For me, it's the positive production from the Sharks. Pavelski's postseason is about the same as his 2009-10 season when we got swept by the juggernaut Blackhawks. However, the top 4 +/- Defensemen are the top 4 for the Sharks. I think that's something that gets overlooked by the fact that the top 3 scorers are blowing up the league. The top scorers, in the regular season, for the 3 teams the Sharks played COMBINED for 3g and 1 assist in 18 games this postseason.

He'll never win the Norris, but Marc-Eduoard Vlasic has to be the best Shutdown defenseman in the league right now.

Re jones coming back west: I'd have to say no and IMO I don't see DL doing many deals with BOS in the future. But who knows maybe he had no choice.

Mr. Cordell, Fabbri was kept out of nearly 2/3 of game four of the SJ series due to an injury. Playing five minutes in one game could have a significant impact on his ice time totals. Additionally, the Blues were fairly undisciplined in playoffs, averaging over 11 minutes per game. Fabbri does not play the penalty kill so there's that.

I hope that clears up your concern about his ice time.
