"Snow could also take it a step further and offer de Haan, their first-round pick and one of their prospects, perhaps Michael Dal Colle for Taylor Hall".
Why did you have to say that?
For what its worth de Haan is not what the Oil are looking for. He plays on the wrong side (Oil need righties) for starters, and he would be just another 5-6 D playing over his head on a team loaded with 5-6 D playing over their heads. |

Do not see a match any longer with the Oilers and Islanders for Hall. De Haan is not going to have much interest for the Oilers. |

Though a trade of JB by Snow is unlikely, Chiarelli has to have a lot of interest in the Edmonton native who would give his team the leadership they seek including the long term contract. |

Chiapet would probably love to snag Boychuck. Didn't you guys give him a NTC though? |

you can have the right to negotiate with brian strait before the ufa period begins and he gets big money. |

I'm not familiar with the prospect Vancouver gave them. I guess Gubranson has not lived up to the hype? |

gubranson is a solid solid defender in his own end.. but if i'm giving up a 19 year old center with high upside AND a second round pick... i want a dman that is more well rounded and Gubranson is a UFA in a year |

I have to disagree with you......on Gudbranson. He's got all the makings of a top tier dman. He's still so young, but he's got the size, can skate, and has a chippy side to him. |
