Most years even Canadians don't care, but this year it was a bit interesting since guys like Duchene, Perry, Marchand, ROR are all there as bubble guys trying to make the World Cup team.

Why someone like Perry showed up, they all want those final 2 fwd spots

I heard Bob McKenzie say the other day on a radio show that this off season will be on a different level. With the possibility of an expansion draft, young prospects, etc you will hear names discussed that you would never imagine.

No teams from Canadian cities made the playoffs....most teams are Canadian and American and Russian...... You get my drift. I have watched every playoff game so far and will watch the rest like real hockey fans do.

I think he was replying to Homie's post that no canadian teams made the NHL Playoffs by saying that large numbers of canadian players are in the playoffs, on teams that are based in American cities, so that canadian fans are still interested in the Cup playoffs and not limited only to crappy tourneys like the IIHF

I think it's quite sad that were trying to expand The product to bring in new fans but yet the The All-Star America Players could give two craps and not participate and do their own thing .. Yet they wonder why the product can't get new people

it's basically to hockey fans what the nhl is to the big-four American sports...I get that and I also wrote that it didn't pique my interest until last season when there was a chance to watch Eichel for an extended period of time and against pro-level competition
