Was a fun game to watch without a horse in it! Early on it was looking like it might be a boring blowout, but then Tampa stormed back and the rest was great.

Kucherov really is impressive.

Such depth on the Tampa forwards. Imagine if Stamkos was available for the series.

The Lightning have shown their prowess in closing out series in these playoffs. I fully expect them to come out flying tomorrow to try and close this one out. Go Bolts

I see Malkin is saying they're bringing it back to Pittsburg, well what else is he going to say but if he's thinking this it's his Messier moment he should be playing a helluva lot better. Of course they're going back to Pittsburg one way or another, he reminds me of the Forrest Gump of hockey, great player but not a source of a lot of wisdom.

Looked like a European soccer player throwing his head back and dropping his glove trying to sell a high stick that wasn't

Would have been Karma is Kessel had scored on the ensuing giveaway/turnover so the egg would be more clear on his face

Stammerman: Yes, they are getting it done but I think it would be better have them in the lineup. I will take the ugly wins if it results in success.

Arty: Interesting idea but shouldn't let talent walk for no return.

Who Bishop? Move him at draft for a solid return and sign a good back-up to finish getting Vasy ready.

Use bishop as the chip that allows you to get rid of carle.

If the Leafs would move Drouin/Carle/Bishop to the Leafs for #1 overall and a prospect. Let them go for Stamkos if they want. Bolts sign Hedman, Kuch, Killorn right away with Koekoek in the future, he can easily replace Carle.

Is that a no or not sure what that means? Drouin has shown some great flashes but is still a turnover machine. With the money Kucherov, Hedman and Vasy will need free up space AND get a potential game changing center in return. We've shown we can win without Bishop and Stamkos and even though Drouin is playing he is making some bad moves so build for the future with that #1 pick and prospect while keeping the now still very competitive.

Ah I follow. Yeah the only benefit for them is Drouin and Bishop with Carle a salary dump. They have a lot of youth in their farm system and they are in a market that doesn't do well with slow rebuilds so I was going that would jump start that rebuild in net and Drouin top line.
