Good write-up.
The questions will go from "will he play this season in the playoffs?" To "will he ever play for the Tampa Bay Lightning again?"

That was a great write up. As someone who's played the game at a moderate level, and has dealt with a blood clot issue, I feel like this captures the frustrating process extremely well. The only two issues I've ever received that I couldn't deal with emotionally were concussions and said blood clot.

Having previously had two guys on our team who had blood clotting issues and had to be on blood thinners, I know how frustrating it is. And neither of those guys were of the caliber of someone like Stamkos.

They feel like they can play and they are ready to go, but there is just too much danger involved for them to be able to get out there and risk something happening. As fans we see them looking ok and want them so badly to be able to come back and help our team (especially come playoff time).

It would be a huge shame for Stamkos' time with Tampa to end this way, if it does. Especially with such a great team, there will always be "what if's" if you guys don't win the cup.

I wish him, and the Lightning the best. But lets go Pens!

Gqood write up. We've all heard the saga ten times and know he's not playing, so why more Stamkos, we've gotten this far in the playoffs without him so how about what this team needs to do tonight, what lineup or line changes are being made and exactly how are they going to start playing Bolts hockey because right now with or without him the TEAM needs to be making some adjustments. Enough with the Stamkos soap opera because right now it's NOT about him but the team. When he's in the lineup great but until then all I hear is the same crap and people says it's not a distraction but it sure as hell is because the team is in the Conference finals without him but every damn story is about Stammer.

Tonight's game is essentially our last stand. If we go down three games to one, I don't know if we can come back from that. Having said that, I'm very proud of the Tampa Bay Lightning for the injury adversity they have endured to get as far as they did and despite the hard decisions that need to be made in this off-season our future still looks bright. Go Bolts!!!!!!!!

It should be 4-0. Pens had s couple chances but we had the better play by far

Well that happens when the refs are on your side. Some really suspect calls including that double minor on Letang.

Whatever homer, dirty (frank) Letang doesn't stop, wussy couldn't handle Killorn skating at him so he broke his stick on him

This is how you beat the Fems, they can't handle losing like men, get under their skin and get the lead then watch them implode

Yeah Im a homer but Milbury even just called the refs out for BS and he hates the Pens. Go back to crying about how your window on the cup has closed and you guys have no answers.

I rarely cry about the refs because they are just crappy in general. But the fact is you guys cant beat us at 5 on 5 play, so its a good thing those refs keep feeding you PPs. You guy should have had a major for the boarding on Cole. But apparently the refs only see penalties one way tonight.

You still bleeding over the refs after that 3rd period, Letang with a headlock takedown right at the refs feet, awesome non call, Dumolin no stick goes after a Bolt again no call, so close too bad

Go cry in your beer. Good push but no dice. Geez are you a baby or what. Go back to the Pens board. You've had more PP this series and the goals are even for the series so please wake up
