Stralman is a great player, but you really have to wonder how effective he'll be coming back from a broken leg. How long will it take to get back into game shape? Seems like guys that come back from significant leg injuries struggle for a while.

I was actually looking into flights, hotels and ticket prices for heading there for games 3 and 4...but my oil furnace in my home crapped out this morning. Has to be replaced..cost us about $4000....happy Friday the 13th to me

What confuses me about RW's evaluation of Stralman in the blog is that right after praising Hedman and saying the Pens have the best defenseman by a small margin he calls Stralman probably the 2nd best defenseman on either team. So if I understand that correctly Letang is slightly better than Hedman but Stralman is the 2nd best which means he's actually better than Hedman.

What confuses me about RW's evaluation of Stralman in the blog is that right after praising Hedman and saying the Pens have the best defenseman by a small margin he calls Stralman probably the 2nd best defenseman on either team. Actually went back and read it again, "Victor Hedman is a top end player and his presence will be felt for the entire series. Tampa probably has the second best defenderon the two teams but that player hasn't played in weeks. Anton Stralman is probably going to find his way back into game action at some point" and while it could have just been a writing mistake, he clearly says Stralman is the 2nd best defender on the 2 teams.

Translation: Penguins will win the series

Maybe RW believes that Stralman is stronger than his own end than either Hedman or Letang. Tanner would certainly agree since Stralman and Brodie got snubbed for Norris noms

Yeah, I got that, I read it and I understand how it reads. But people make mistakes, he may have meant it the other way. Really all he has to do is switch it to "best second defender" and it reads the way I think he may have meant to say it.
