I think it takes a mature individual to realize when he needs to take some time off and recharge his body for his real job, USA hockey does not provide him with his living. The NHL does. I'd hate to think what would be said if he went over to play in this tournament and got hurt because he wasn't at the top of his game physically.
So please spare the mindless rhetoric. |

I honestly don't care if he gets wasted all summer long. As long as he's ready to go first day of camp, that's all that matters to him/Buffalo (while I would love/want him to be ready to go day one, he is a 19 year old kid. Let him actually be 19, even though he gets to do something amazing for a career) |
