I went to about 15 Reign games this year. Pretty boring defensive hockey most of the time, and I may not get a ticket package next year because of that. Sure, they win, but it should be far more entertaining. And, yes, the Gulls had the big advantage against them this year. I will say Gulls in 5.

Great analysis of the Gulls Jason! This is definitely going to be a series to be at. If you're a Kings or Ducks fan, you should make it a point to go see your future perform under intense pressure.

If I could have one wish in this series besides a Gulls victory, it would karma for MacDermid. If you want to see a guy who is hated, come on down to the Sports Arena and watch MacDermid. No one down here has anything but disgust for that big cheap shot.

I mentioned it at the top of the article when saying what the two teams have gone through in this series. No doubt that has added to the distaste for each other in this series. But hey, there is hockey to analyze here and not cheap shots or post whistle extracurriculars.

No villains at all, just two teams that really do not like each other.

And we can add Tuscon to that mix next year! The AHL on the West Coast has been a massive success.

As someone mentioned, adding Tucson will be great. And then an NHL team in Vegas will make it so we can weekend about anywhere and catch quality hockey. It's a great time to be alive.
