There's something about Crawford that I just don't like. I think I'd much rather get a younger coach looking to break into the NHL (Green?) or even a guy like Dineen (he left a good impression on me when he took over the women's team for the Olympics).

Be different if you were at least going to a stable franchise, but going to be with your family to that franchise seems like a horrible mistake.

Well good trade for the Jets, but horrible for the Flames. I don't even know that he gets claimed on waivers. More than likely he is a guy that if he's dealt either it's for a bad contract of the other GM was drinking rye.

1) I've said this 100 times already but Bruce Boudreau is far and away the best candidate on the market.

Best experienced candidate, sure. I don't think that means he's the best candidate, necessarily. I would really like to see more written about Dineen. Seriously, a player turned coach, with some experience behind the bench and 2 years with the Blackhawks. Given that we seem to be showing similarities to the Hawks in our build, it makes some sense.
