It's his own fault - Zmloste
theres tons of things i can point at and say kenny (frank)ed up, but Pav leaving isnt one of them, obviously had he known he wouldnt complete his contract he wouldnt have signed him to it
pav himself didnt know he wanted to leave when he signed last
Ericsson contract. Kenny's fault, abbys contract in a few years when its awful, we can say, kenny shouldnt have done that
but how can you blame him for pav wanting to retire? |

holland knows the risks of signing a +35 contract. He was willing to take the risk and may now have to deal with it.
If you’re blogger is right and deal is already in place, it doesn't seem like a big issue.
My guess is the trade will be structured similar to Horton for Clarskon; say to AZ for Michalek and Vermette.

Trade his rights (salary 5.5M) to the Coyotes for Michalek (salary 3.2M) or something. There are enough possibilites to find a deal with teams far off from the cap |

Can his rights be traded? If he retires doesn't his cap recapture go against the team that he signed the contract with? And can he go play in Russia without retiring? |

I dont think there's any agreement with the nhl and khl that would stop him from just jumping to another in a contract, especially when Holland said he's going to respect dats wishes |
