With all the injuries, I think the long pauses between games help the Lightning the most.

I wish Matt Carle the SLOWEST in recoveries. We are better without him.

All in all a good story, except the part where you said Bishop responded after the game one loss. He could not have had it any easier then he had in game two. The Isles are young as far as playoff experience goes and never showed up. They were so flat it was ridiculous. I do not expect that easy of a night for Ben the rest of the way. My opinion is that the better Floridian team is already eliminated and if the Isles start hitting the way they should, they can run away with this series.

Would have been nice if the Islanders played 60 minutes rather than 30 and give up!

Thirty? I only saw them play five the whole game at the end of the first and all they did was skate in circles with the puck in the Tampa zone without putting a shot on net. Hard game to watch for an islander fan.

Hmmm, don't know what to say here considering the Bolts are the defending Eastern Conference Champs into the second round without Stamkos, Stralman, Brown - now Carle and Condra and still winning. The Lightning are a team and play like a team, have been through this all before. The Bolts have dominated the third periods and they will not let any team run away from them in a series, just wont happen. Maybe the Islanders do beat them but the Bolts will keep coming.

Lightning have a great team with excellent depth. The Islanders were their own worst enemies last game but I don't say that as an underhanded jab at the lightning. I think anyone who says this series is a give me for the islanders is nuts especially the way we played last game. At this point it could go either way.

I think it's time to give credit where credit is due. When Tampa is not in penalty trouble, they have dominated the Islanders, especially in 5 v 5. Bishop was totally off his game in game one which ultimately resulted in two relatively soft goals. I guess we will see how the Islanders respond tomorrow. I am looking forward to game 3.

Let's just play some hockey. These three days between games sucks. No momentum to the series

Why do they have so much trouble with the ice at Barclays Center? I heard they had the league in to help.
