Minnesota. They haven't had a legit coach since Lemaire. |

I would respectfully dismiss this notion. If Boudreau couldn't advance a team with the Ducks talent or Washingtons I don't have a whole lot of faith he can do much for the Wild. |

There were some years where he made poor choices, but there were just as many years where his players laid a big one. |

I don't believe he's a bad coach by any stretch, but his track records in the regular and post seasons speak for themselves.
Great regular season coach, major bust in the post season. I do believe loss of confidence and motivation in the post season does have a lot to do with a coaching deficiency. JMO |

Let's make things really interesting:
Darryl Sutter to the Ducks (his contract with L.A. ended. hasn't resigned)
Boudreau to the Kings
Kings vs Ducks - first round next year - game 7 at Staples...............

Yes Gumpy. But you also seem to think that Andrew Shaw's gay slur was acceptable, so let's just drop your opinions off to the side of the road where they belong... |

Ah yes, the free speech argument.
That one that misses out on two things:
1) Free speech is not freedom from responsibility, or freedom from consequence.
2) This is a privately maintained forum that has a designated Code of Conduct. And from that code of conduct I quote: "No racial slurs or otherwise derogatory comments based on the target's assumed race, religion, gender, country, sexual orientation, or language. This goes not only for posters and bloggers but for players, management, officials, their families, and others in the public eye. This is a hockey forum for hockey discussion, take hate speech elsewhere. "
You don't get "freedom of speech" here. You get to follow the damn rules. |

My point is that your opinions in this case are in clear violation of the CoC. I shouldn't be able to respond to them, because you should keep your backwards, archaic views to yourself. |

My accosting you for your discriminatory statements is not harrassment. It's me pointing out that your comments have no place here. Hell, "if you want, you can always not respond to them!"
And for the sake of correctness, it's Dr., not Mr.... |

I get the attempted implication here, but also very much enjoy the irony.
And to answer your question like a civilized person, my doctorate is in chemistry, because chemistry is awesome |

I'd say that you're actually the one trolling, based on replies.
Plus I don't wear a stethoscope. That would be entirely useless and impractical for me... |

so if you disagree on one thing with someone all their opinions on all other topics are invalid?? if someone say's something offensive about homosexuality then their opinions about hockey are invalid?? i don't believe in god but i'm not gonna disregard every opinion on all other subjects just cause someone does.. lot's of great minds throughout history have had some absolutely brilliant ideas while at the same time holding absolutely bat shît crazy ideas.. it's simple minded to categories someone on one opinion |

Of course not. But I've yet to see any evidence that his opinions on hockey are any more informed... |

Which is why he feels compelled to categorize himself. It's fairly evident that in his world he and his opinions are pretty damn important. Hence the need for validation of his societal status and standing in a freaking hockey blog!
I mean because how can you take anything anyone has to say at all serious unless you are made aware that theyre a "Doctor"? Right? And I think everyone knows that having a doctorate in chemistry pretty much means that your view points are always the correct ones, ESPECIALLY in matters of morality and hockey! |
