bishop's numbers vs the Isles the last 10 or so games are pretty awful. I have to think at some point he'll play a lot better but I'd rather it not be this series.

Lightning just need to play Lightning hockey. Play organized and don't run around like in Game 1. Far too many bodies in front of Bishop without a Lightning player on him and the Isles buried the pucks. I expect a much tighter game 2 from both teams, it's a must win for Tampa.

They started okay but even then their gap was terrible and lacked forechechecking and were backing into he zone too far. Play the system and they'll be okay. Play Boyle against their Baby Huey line, liked they'd changed to, he's a bigger body and can take the checks. Filp, Cally, Palat against the Tavares line.

It was only one game, I expect the Lightning will bounce back in game 2.

Pretty impressive that a team without their superstar and #2 D can still compete.

I think the islanders will take it in 5. Still should be a great series.

Great start. Nice goals by Johnson and Drouin but Greiss looks off today. Yipee!

Bad start for isles but big pp goal seemed to wake them up. Greiss not playing well though.

It seems as though Tampa is dominating the 5 on 5 play.

This game has been totally dominated by Tampa. Tampa came to play.

Did anyone see the greatest difference between game 1 and game 2? NO Matt Carle!

Keep that turnover pylon in the press box making popcorn!

And the islanders did not. Horrible showing by my team yesterday.

I wonder if there was or will be a Feaster-Torts-Vinny type of meeting between Yzerman-Cooper-Drouin. How can you trade Drouin now unless the return is real big, his stock is only going up and I think if Stamkos does leave then Drouin will be on the Bolts for sure next season. Watching him yesterday in the arena he stood out - he so much more aggressive going to the dirty area and can cycle the puck on his own. This offseason after the playoffs is going to be so crazy.

It may have already happened. Would much prefer to keep him, but his value via trade will bring a great return if he still wants to go.

What do you think his trade return would be after these playoffs? I can't quantify it - would have to be a under 24 year top 4 Dman or equivalent F type of talent, I don't think it would be draft picks as the Bolts will still be contending need a player now.

I want him to return, it seems he grew up and his progression reminds me of Kucherov in that they both learned to get to the dirty area and out work the opponent.

It would take a Dumba, Parayako or the likes to start the conversation.

Parayko is only a wet dream. No way Blues let him go.

Before the deadline there where rumours about Fabbri, Shattenkirk and Dumba. As of right now I would only trade 27 för Dumba i think.

Nashville should also be a good fit. I havent seen them play that much but maybe Ellis would be a good return.
