Lehtonen is starting which is no surpise. so much better in this playoffs and vs blues.

I just don't see how the Stars can hang with you guys. I predict Blues in 6, but will not be shocked if the Blues end it in 5.

If the Blues play like any game but game 6, the Blues take the series in 5 or 6 at the most. If they play like games 5 or 7, it could easily be a sweep. If they play some of the games like game 6, all bets are off and they could easily lose the series.

I have seen ONE person in the media pick the stars

I just don't see the series being that one sided

Games are going to be close and could go either way like the Hawks series

There was a home/away series between these teams and the Blues destroyed the Stars at home frustrating the hell out of them once again.

Then the next night they played with complacentcy and lost. But also the Blues were short handed and Hitch leaned heavily on a few players and they played tired the next day.

The Blues need to be less concerned about being caught on the ice in the second. They give possession away in the second periods with an over emphasis on not being caught on the ice for an extended period of time. So in order not to get a tired group caught on an icing they end up savrificing much more of the play for the period.

Simpe fix.

Stay away from the box, frustrate Jamie Benn, do not get frustrated by Rousell, and forecheck and attack the blue paint and you can beat Dallas. Also watch the gaps, must slow them down in the neutral zone.

Take the body on Jamie Benn every time you can. Take him to the box as often as you can.

He is 1-7 in seven game playoff series.
He is 2-7 in playoff series of 6 or more games.
This would suggest he continually loses the close series. This may be even more true as his team was the higher seed in every one of these series.

He is 3-1 in series of 5 games or less (perhaps talent decide these more than coaching?)

Hitch - 52% games, 56% series
Sutter - 53% game, 59%
Babcock - 57% games, 63% series
BB - 51% games, 39% series

Blues should win this series, but I don't think it'll be easy. I still pick the Stars in 7, but I'd never pick the Stars to lose. Alot of things will have to go right for the Stars to move on. If they do I think they're as good as any other team still standing.
