People need to chill, seriously. Just because you get knocked of the playoffs doesn't mean the entire roster, coaching staff, or office managers needs to be changed.

This is just a ploy by blog writers to get people's attention. Don't believe the hype.

By this logic, Boudreau should never be fired so long as he consistently makes the playoffs. True, the onus is on the forwards to score as much as possible, but couldn't line changes and matchups be the source of Anaheim's problems, and doesn't that fall on the coach? Hot goaltenders like Rinne are all over the playoffs, but they can be scored on without elite snipers (see the Flyers vs Holtby). I personally think the problem does lie with the coach, but unless someone his equal is waiting in the wings, then it probably doesn't make sense to release him. And if Boudreau isn't fired this year, and the teams adds and removes a few pieces for next year, only to fall to the same result, where does the problem lie? The GM? The assistant coaches? The Captain?

Personally, I don't think he should be fired, but I will understand why if Murray decided to go that route.

well.....I liked Bruce a lot. For the fans he was great. Put the team back on the map after Randy was fired. Sad to say though that i believe it was not 100% him over the last 4 years. He has a hand in those game 6,7 losses. I think this was a needed move for the players also. Change might do good as well as not good. I say let the Walrus take over.

This is illogical. Just because a stupid GM fired a top-five coach when we all said he shouldn't doesn't mean we're idiots for not anticipating that Murray would be a reactionary dumbass. Bob Murray made a terrible decision, if anything, your question should be how are Todd, Jimmy and Jason just writers when they're smarter than Bob Murray?

Don't need to rebuild. Their defense and goaltending are all on the right side of 30. If anything make a trade for forward depth.

Do you have any stats to back up this claim?
