I liked him in his year here and god knows this team needs help at the center ice position. But, hes just older and i think theres other/younger guys we can sign or play. But, I can see a team signing him for their bottom 6.

He has been hanging on the last three years and is only a fringe player, a far cry from what he used to bring. Personally it is none of my business but I also like to see guys like Richards, Lecavalier retire and bring in new younger people who have a future. Marty was different because he was still elite until his last year. Marty could still skate at 38 but Richards and Lecavalier are too slow and should retire. I loved these guys in the TB days but there time has come.

Why? It was obvious that Little Caesars would get naming rights to the arena. I was hoping for Little Caesars Olympia but can settle with Little Caesars Arena.

I dont love it, but accepting the fact that there wont be a "red wings area"

or "new olympia" basically some corp name was for sure going to be attached, i like Little Caesars Arena way more than amway or bank of america arena
