Regular season means nothing. It's boring to a team like the Hawks. Anything can happen in game 7, and I'm hoping you get your wish (especially since I'm in Dallas the next month), but I think you'd be better off against the Blues.

I'd accept regular season means little, but a tough series against STL could be a difference in the next round, or even further down the line.

I think there is something to be said for matchups, the Hawks seem to bring the best out of the Stars, STL and even Minnie always play us tough.

stars have no chance against either one.. their defence and goaltending will not hold up in a series vs hawks or blues.. playoff hockey is different and the stars are built for the reg season.. last time highest scoring team won the cup was 91

Dallas and Chi aren't built that differently, the big difference is experience. This might not be the year for the Stars but they're trending up. Let the D get some seasoning, maybe even swap some out. It's all part of the ride, glad we're not golfing yet.

Stars are going to lose a ton of depth and/or run into cap trouble before they get to realize a cup with the current roster.

I have a parrot who can also repeat meaningless things. He can't work a mouse so you've got him beat there. Congratulations you'd make an awesome parrot.

The stat that the highest scoring team hasn't won a cup lately is ridiculous. Last year the highest scoring team made it to the Finals (Tampa). 2012-13 Chi won the cup and they were 2nd in scoring. I know all those years following a boring trap taught you goals were bad, but goals usually also have a large part in determining the winner of the game.

Dallas is a mirage, not a trend...

He's just another know it all, full of hot air, no one is better, Hawks fan. Good luck to the Stars, just not too much. Was a Stars fan when Hullie was there. Who has more goals in the series Benn or Tarasenko? I'm bias but I'll go Tank!
