Sorry I mentioned on last blog that Pulock's emergence in the playoffs is a bright spot. |

If I saw it correctly, he was favoring his left arm after a check along the boards. He stayed on the ice until the whistle, but was clearly having some trouble. Hope it's not too serious. |

no that sucks. Cappy could be happy. this guy is looking for an out to save his job.
He cant be too happy Greiss playing as well as he has. He was banking on the Halak excuse this year. |

It's part of the game. We have been without our leader Mitchell and one of our best players in Trocheck. poop sucks |

That sucks, but if Pelech is his replacement, it's not devastating (although it hurts the power play). However, if Cappy does his worst and goes with his favored has-been or his favorite never-was, this series is over.
BTW, how predictably refreshed has the power play looked w/ Pulock? Why are the people running things dumber than us schmucks watching from home? (FWIW it's not just Cappy; Rangers fans have been calling for Girardi to be benched all year before AV finally did it; although in that case you might say Girardi had earned some loyalty over the years unlike Cappy's favorites/pets). |

If we lose this series CrapUano can make all the excuses he wants. He and Snow will be finished. This calamity cannot be allowed to go on much longer. |

Boychuk on the power play, PLEASE? Can one of these dippoop reporters at least ASK Cappy about it.
The Pulock news sucks. No other way about it. Next guy up, though. |

It was his very next shift after that hit. Wilson (God I hate that name) got him in the corner on the sequence that Florida scored the winning goal. You could see him favoring it right after. He tried but couldn't keep the crease clear. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Wilson gave him a little extra because of the Jagr hit. |

I'd love to hear the answer to why in Gods name he would start the game and every period with the Bailey line which, despite scoring the OT goal has been by far the consistently worst of the four. How can you build any momentum at all when you spend the first 2 or 3 minutes of a period in your own end? The Panthers have had no answer for the first line. Put them out there to start the game and try to get something going for (frank)s sake. |

The problem is way worse than the start of the game. The fact that certain players need to be told to bring it is THE problem. In todays newsday article they quoted Capuano as saying its time for his top line to speak up in the room basically. Ill be the first one to chirp the coach, but at some point its gotta come from the players. Thats why having a good room is so important. The problem with this team is that the "leaders" all lead by example. Its time guys start calling each other out in the room. You think Mark Messier would allow Josh Bailey to glide in a playoff game???? |

Lines should be:
Niel-JT-KO
Prince-Strome-Quinne
Nelson-Ciz-Cluts
Kule-Bailey-Martin
4th line never sees a faceoff, 8mins or less of EV strengtb ice time for the game |

Just sit Bailey. Can Bernier be any worse? He at least looked like he had a little bit of fire in his belly when he played against the Rangers at the end of the season. Maybe something like...
Nielsen - Tavares - Okposo
Nelson - Strome - Clutterbuck
Kulemin - Quine - Prince
Martin - Cizikas - Bernier
...adjust lines as you see fit.

I don't care if he keeps the lines the same or replaces Bailey with Bernier, but it's the absurd amount of ice time he gave the Bailey line, after they have pissed all over their own faces this entire series, is what I can't understand. The fourth line is garbage too, they need to be relegated to regular fourth line minutes. The Tavares line and the 10/11/18 line need to get the most ice time, plain and simple. |

It really doesnt matter what the lines are, if guys arent gonna play with passion. Tamba bay smoked Detroit without Stamkos. At no point were they crying about the top scorer being out.......they came to play. If Tavares went down with the injury do you think the isles would be able to do that? I dont think so.... |
