Geno taking that top power play spot mean he's playing tomorrow?

It's been such a long time to see depth like that.

I have no clue who is playing tomorrow considering the mind games that Sully played in Game 1. Still, it's a great sign seeing Malkin and Rust practicing. If they don't play tomorrow I think they will be in Game 3.

You mean similar to how Fleury being in the starters goal and leaving the ice first meant Fleury was starting game 1?

Swap Sheary with Kunitz and you've basically got exactly what I want them to do

Fleury doesn't expect to play tomorrow https://twitter.com/pengu...status/721007833727283200
Yes, I know gamesmanship blah blah blah. Also Rust sounds non committal https://twitter.com/pengu...status/721008444921290753
Also Lundqvist is on the ice for the Rags

I have a feeling that Kuhn-Cullen-Fehr line will score a lot of big goals for the Pens these playoffs. That is one solid 4th line if you ask me! Not sure if anyone can match up with that.

It was nice seeing how physical that Was-Philly game was last night. Neither team was looking particularly good but both were throwing the body.

Yeah but Couts getting injured out revatalized my paranoia that if we get past the Rangers, we're gonna get seriously banged up thanks to Ovi and Wilson.

My bad. I missed the ? at the end of your post and thought you were making a statement and not asking a question and I was just pointing out not to look to far into that because as we saw with MAF, normal indicators mean nothing this time of year.

I feel like because they weren't alternating Sundqvist or Setisto with the day to day guys (Malkin and Rust) in the line rushes, that indeed the day to day guys will be in the lineup tomorrow...

I was just thinking with how bad the power play looked most of game 1 I wouldn't want Geno taking those reps if he's not ready. It would be a nice surprise if rust and Geno hop back in the line up.

I'll wait until the Yohe article to set my expectations. Looks like MAF was all smiles at the interview so hopefully that's a good sign, but MAF is always all smiles

I wouldn't worry about it, as I was told on here after the last Caps game, Wilson won't play in the playoffs because they can't trust him.{sarasm}

This made me chuckle from the Kings new blog "The pairing of Scuderi and Martinez, which barely played together during the regular season, were run aground in the first two periods by the Sharks bottom line forwards" . Well duh, it doesn't take much to run around Scuds, definitely one of the slowest in the league. Guess that so called awesome first pairing combo of Doughty and Scuds wasn't so awesome after all.

I thought the same thing, just hoping the Flyers steal a game or two and both teams beat the hell out of each other in the process. That is going to be the big question with this Pens team. When the physcality goes nuclear, can they battle through and win games? And also, will the refs actually call penalties.... they did last night.

I'm definitely hopeful as well, I said before the series started that I was targeting game 3 for a Geno return but I'd happily be wrong and see a game 2 return instead. I have a feeling with them not having the game 1 cushion that they'll role the dice with Zatkoff 1 more game and then MAF/Malkin/Rust all return in game 3.
