I like that Quine and Prince are getting a shot. Hope they can bring some offense. Still shocking Pulock gets the start. - ses111

I'm shocked too. Very happy with this lineup. Probably one of the first times all year I was happy when I read the lineup. Still 5+ more hours. Let's go already!
Finally lines I can live with. That second line is scary though. Bailey should be on a third or fourth line in my opinion or in the press box. He dont show today he should be benched tomorow

I've never been banned? Do I have a shot now? I hope Cappy's lineup does not mean we are in end times.
Gotta love the lineup right now........for once the isles are fielding the best possible team. Bout time they arent waiting for a vet to lose the job...
Those middle two lines look atrocious (so much so that MDC's AHL career might be extremely brief), but the 1st line has been great (ever since Cappy decided he needed an actual 1st line not just JT and a couple of contest winners), we all know what the 4th line can do; Greiss has gotten his game back together after looking a little panicked right after Halak's injury; but most of all, the Isles have their most optimum blue line for literally the first time all season. The 7 best defensemen are finally the top 7 on the depth chart; no more Jack-ing around.
I understand all the pundits picking the Panthers, but I don't think any of them to a man have even noticed or are taking into account the FN-JT-KO first line or the state of the defense corps.
Can't complain about the lineup other than wanting to shuffle the middle six, but the defense is the best group of six we have and I'm ready to watch this. I wish halak was healthy though.

I imagine the middle-6 will be a somewhat-fluid situation. Fourth line will almost definitely remain in tact and, short of embarrassing themselves out there, I'd imagine the 51/91/21 line stays together.
I love the positive air on this message board LETS GO ISLANDERS. - Spartiarti
It's a funny thing, but it does seem to be a more positive vibe. After all the b.s., we're feeling pretty good about this series. We'll see how the mood is tomorrow.

That being said, GO ISLES!!!! - Mancalledsting
Dont worry we'll find something to complain about tomorrow. I think the isles win 3-2 tonight...
MDC to Bridgeport is the right move. Let the kid play in an important game in the A to see what he has. If he looks good, he can be used as a shot in the arm or injury replacement if necessary. At least the Isles will be able to se if the kid can even handle the pro game yet.
This wasn't a direct responce to this article. I have been seeing Islander fans crying he wasn't in the lineup today around the internet.
Pulock and Hamonic in, Strait, Zid and Bernier out? What gives coach?
