I'd give the Rags the edge in forwards and goaltending. No way do they have the advantage defensively. Especially without McDonagh. They're inferior in almost every single stat of team defense.

We might be missing McDonagh, but at the end of the day we still have Yandle, Staal, and Klein. Those are 3 quality defensemen. Then we have Girardi and Skjei. This defense is still deep and talented, regardless of how bad people think Staal and Girardi are (people act like they're Stu Bickel).
