so happy that Skinner is back, you really need him with the current thin forward group. Man, he took the league by storm but after last season I almost gave up on him. Hope he can stay healthy.

I know it is only a 2% chance, but I would love to see a team like Carolina that didn't tank win one of the top 3 draft picks. Not going to happen, but man would that really help this team snag a top Forward in the draft.

Agree with most of what you say, but Nash has a lot of value, as do Nestrasil and Mclement ! Yes, they could be upgraded, but as 4th liners they fill their roles pretty well.

Nestrasil plays good, hard hockey. He's an important piece on that line with J.Staal.

Nash an be replaced but for his cost he's perfectly fine.

McClement is a goddamn black hole.

Should be a interesting draft and off season. RF will have to add a few full time NHLers to get to the salary floor of what approximately 60M or so. So happy spending with that 20M flexibility.

Can't wait to see which picks are available at #13 and #24. Assuming that Matthews, Laine, Puljujarvi and Tkachuk are gone....who would you like to see the Canes' snag...

My short list includes Pierre-Luc Dubois, Tyson Jost, Michael McLeod and Carl Grundstrom. Jacob Chychrun, and or German Rubtsov, Mikhail Sergachev as the russian dark horses if you could get them to commit to playing in NA.

Also 2 second rounders could strike gold too. Quite looking forward to the draft lottery too.

Logan Brown is a good bet too.

Yes, Logan Brown at 6'5 would bring some needed size and possibly grit.
