I think what Hakstol (s) has been able to do, getting the ok to sub par talents that surround your core to play at a high level, has been (frank)ing incredible. But call me a homer but I think what Mike Sullivan was able to do since stepping in to this demoralized Penguins squad has been more impressive.

But let's all be real... Trotz will win the Jack Adams.

I don't think Wings/Tampa will get to 7 games. The Lightning are just beat to hell right now. Wings in 5, Caps in 6.

Philly in 5, Scorachek is getting his timing and legs back, Simmonds is set for a good hot streak, Holtby is great but Philly will kill him.

There's been a lot of talk about the Caps collapsing in the playoffs like they always do, but I think this year's going to be different. They've got a great defense and an All-Star goalie and, most importantly, this year's team doesn't need Ovechkin to score in order to win games. They've got 6 players with 20+ goals this season (and 2 more with 17)...if Ovie is on, though, god help their opponents.

Watching the Caps - Blues game tonight and it appears that Ovie is most certainly on. 2 goals so far with a period to go. One more for a hat trick will give him his third straight 50 goal season. Damn. (Tarasenko just scored his 40th as well).
