Lets be fair, Nashville Edge is a terrible name. It's almost as bad as Atlanta Thrashers. Heres hoping that Vegas is the first team to use the dye sublimated advertisement jersey design like the Russians do.

come on man Las Vegas can only have one name--the Gamblers--that is acceptable for a pro sports franchise as pther nick names pop into mind but are less family minded.
Other names just don't pop, Strippers(after the strip ;-) ), Casinos, Slot Machines, Dancers, Chips, Mobsters....

I had forgotten about the Edge (thankfully) ... surely was looking for a natural product placement with Edge Shave Gel being an S.C. Johnson product (and wife of Liarpold being the heir to the Johnson fortune).
