they gotta get Chara to retire, (although he didnt play that bad last night i guess) and use his money to sign Stamkos. That man is a finisher. |

Pff you're making it so difficult for yourself, but still all the chances to make it.
So now Boston has 91 points after 80 games (37 ROW) and Detroit has 91 points after 79 games (38 ROW). If Detroit wins 2 and loses to the Bruins they have 95 points and 40 ROW. If the Bruins win their last two games they have 95 points and 39 ROW so hoping on a mistake of Detroit here. This is exciting!
Of course this is all assuming Phillie will amass at least 96 points and tonight is Phillie @ Wings |

Wings lose tonight and lose to the Bruins on Thursday but then the B's lost Saturday and are out of the playoffs on ROW. Calling it now take it to the bank. This team sucks and it would be better for them to miss the playoffs and fire NEELY on down. This team needs a fresh set of eyes and a new voice in the locker room. |

Cam Ward had quite the game last night and the Bruins carried play for most of the game. The team presently constructed is not as bad as your making it out to be. They just have zero confidence right now.
Its never better to miss the playoffs.. |

Bruins were actually lucky to steal a point out of this one. The Canes had some great point-blank chances and either hit the post/crossbar or Tuukka came up with a nice stop. The Bruins goal was an absolute gift and besides that, I can only recall two tough stops that Ward had to make all game (Marchand in alone and Louie in OT). Once again the Bruins lose to a lower skilled team while trying to play the bottled up defensive style. So painfully frustrating.
And what about Franky in the Shootout? The guy knows how to find the net. Oh well, might all be water under the bridge very soon. |

OT was a bit frustrating. Marchand and Patrice were gassed and they were still rolled out 45 seconds later. Vatrano never saw the ice. At least Chara was on the bench for the entirety. Only took 80 games to figure that one out. |

Like most of you, i'm a Bruins die hard fan. This time i hope they miss the playoffs for a few reasons. The biggest one is to make the gm or president regret the move at the deadline. You don't give away second and third round picks when you're not a contender. It stills makes me angry when i see Kyle Connor and Matt Barzal ranked top 15 prospects and we could have them and we passed taking 2 guys that are not ranked in the top 75.
Poor management.

Makes me wonder if they go off the board again this year with two first rounders. |

For those who are/were worried about Jake Debrusk's season... the kid took a slapper to the junk that required surgery early in the year. You'd take a while to recover too. |

I would actually vote morgan freeman to take the place of Jack Edwards. TV ratings for bruin games would skyrocket. |
