Thought I saw Ovie do a little slash on the linesman after he got the penalty. While skating towards the blue line.

ovie's a sneaky one...he's smart enough to get away with some plays that are either dirty or bordering on dirty...he's an nhl star so the refs cut him plenty of slack

Before the season started I wanted a line of Kane/Eichel/Girgensons. I would keep 15/28 together for a while

I just feel like maybe Kane and Eichel aren't a good fit because they both like to carry the puck. Girgensons is the type that allows his linemates to carry the puck while he clears some space and drives the net. Is the exact kind of guy that I think Eichel needs to be with. I'd actually like to see Ennis on the other wing, but he's probably going to be out for awhile now that Ovi crushed him last night.

8 is a punk...a goal scoring machine punk who i would love here in blue and gold. He got away with a dirty hit on Gorges Monday and the hit on Ennis, while clean, was kinda douchey. He disappears for periods at a time then flys in and takes over in a heartbeat.
Starting to dislike the Caps. Just jealous I guess.

Wouldn't mind seeing Foligno set up in the bucket while Jack and Gus take shots. Maybe recapture Folignos lightning in a bottle.

I love Mcginn with Eich and Gus looks to be very good with him as well i would love that line. Put Kane up top with ROR and Samson, and try to figure some combination of the old guys that cant score, or do anything.

I don't hate it, but I'm not sure Foligno can keep up. While Girgensons isn't as fast as Eichel, he's still got some wheels. It's part of why Moulson hasn't fit well.

I think part of why Moulson had good chemistry with Tavares is they both have below average skating ability, so it's not like Tavares was leaving Moulson in the dust.

He is the best player in the league and it isn't close. He can score at will, he can set up, he can hit and has finally turned into a leader over the last 2 seasons. Complete package IMO and probably one of the most complete hockey players ever.

Considering it seems like he's nowhere in the conversation for the leagues best player, I agree

He's young. He's going to have his ups and downs. The time off seems to have done Eichel a lot of good, and Reinhart a lot of bad. I think he just needs to find his rhythm again.

Murray intentionally or not put a lot of pressure on himself. If we end up bottom 3, IMO he is on the hot seat, then you might see him become impatient and make moves to save his job. That's the last thing I want
