that was probably the best Sabres game I have seen in 2 or 3 years.
And I know its a tall order to fill, but I want to see that Jack Eichel every night the team plays from here on out.

It was a nice come from behind win. Not planning any parades here but it's nice to watch some entertaining hockey (and winning too!)

Mcginn is definitely a nice addition, which many people weren't expecting, myself included. He's what you want in a grit type player: hard working and puts himself in front of the net whenever possible so that he has a chance for those unexpected dumps or deflections.

I'd like to see girgensons and ennis get back to where they were last year. They seem to play well enough, but for ennis it looks like hes thinking too much about what he's doing rather than just playing. girgensons is still a kid, so I'm not too concerned, because he's playing hard enough, he's just not getting the finishes like he did last year.

I thought ennis played well last night...needs to continue weaving in and out of Eichel and kane...

gus is in that checking/pk role right now and it's working for the team...I believe that once he gets truly comfortable with his linemates in that role, the offensive production will start coming

I stand corrected about Enzo, looked much more like his old self yesterday. I want that 2nd line to take off.

If, Girgensons can go up against the oppositions top line every night and shut them down, than he doesn't need to even score a single point all season long, in my book. A tough shutdown center is hard to come by, let RoR, Kane, Eichel, Rein, and Ennis worry about scoring points.

"On the game-tying goal just :39 seconds after O'Reilly tied the score, Eichel backed off the defense, and hung on to the puck while Kane crashed the net."

The usual moronic drivel from hockeybuzz.

That's why I'm not to worried about him, it would be nice to see him light the lamp a few times as reward for his work

A simple error denotes moronic?

Perhaps you missed the dozens and dozens of others.
Perhaps you've come across a single sentence of Garth's written in grammar-school English.
Perhaps you simply neither care nor expect any different.

You do realize that Garth did not write this, right?

If you want to criticize Garth, fine, but find all of the other errors Pach has made.

I dare you...

Eichel "backed off the defense" because he was far too lazy to drive to the net.
