Goldobin playing with the baby Sharks did not impress me. He was out for a couple of goals against. If the 2nd line is a shut down line move Smith to the wing and see what happens.

Goldy will be fine, he's coming up, hopefully to slot on the LW with Marleau sliding to center. That's just the easiest solution.

I have been saying that Marleau needs to be back at center for years. He has always played his best hockey at his natural center position. I think Goldobin might be a good fit with Marleau's speed & Ward's two way ability. i say roll with Ward-Marleau-Goldobin & leave the other lines intact. If you feel the need to see Smith, have him take Brown's spot, but leave Hertl @ Tierney where they are.

Good test of adversity. Better to learn how to deal with it now as a group than in the playoffs. Goldy will get his shot but needs to prove his 200 foot game. Also Tennyson has been surprisingly steady. I am an idiot for ever thinking burns should be a forward. He has stepped up his defensive game tremendously. Hertl also having a good start to the year. Goodrow and Tierney have provided some very good defensive play. Lets see Deboer get a W against his former team tonight.

Yeah, he's going to miss 4 to 6 weeks. Hopefully we slide Marleau to center & Goldy at LW. We'll be all right though.
